This course is designed to train worker on the basics of fire extinguisher locations, common fire hazards, proper procedures, safe evacuation routes, and how to properly use a fire extinguisher. OSHA's Portable Fire Extinguishers 1910.157 standard requires that any worker who may be called upon to use a portable fire extinguisher receive training on an extinguisher.
