Tempest Belt – Drive (Gas)
Tempest’s Belt-Drive Power BlowersTM are what started it all. The first
versions of this positive pressure ventilation fan were designed in the late 80’s to introduce Positive Pressure Attack (PPA) to the fire industry. Today, our current models boast a number of updated features and changes from the
old version, but still hold true to the original idea: Keep the motor low to the ground to reduce vibration and perfect the pulley system to maximize RPM/ performance. The BD’s are the only PPV fans available in a 27′′ model. Originally designed for FDNY, the 27′′ Belt-Drive is the ultimate positive pressure ventilation fan (PPV fan).
Tempest VS-1 Battery Blower
The VS-1 is the first of the Tempest Tech Series product line. This PPV Blower features a ergonomic design and a leading edge battery motor. At only 52 lbs. it leads the industry in mobility. With an air flow rating of 12,131 cfm., the VS-1 delivers a level of utility and performance not found in any other battery-driven blower.
Tempest VSG – Variable Speed (Elec)
The VSG positive pressure ventilation fan was one of the original variable speed, GFCI compatible Power BlowersTM to hit the fire service. Today, it’s now one of the most popular. Powered by its 1.5 HP motor, the VSG PPV fan is guaranteed to provide high performance, reliable ventilation while running on nearly any rig or house hold wall outlet. The variable speed control makes the VSG perfect for ventilating a wide range of both
small and large structures.
